Salvation Army $52K away from donation goal

The Alpena Salvation Army has raised $112,245 of its $165,000 goal. Last week, a donor donated $4,000 in kettles and about $2,000 was raised by clubs over the weekend.

Maj. Prezza Morrison, corps officer and pastor of the Alpena Salvation Army, said that she hopes to reach the goal before the end of the year, but said that donations are still accepted until Jan. 31, 2024.
