The Hillman Tigers lost in Ogemaw on Monday, 59-48. The Tigers came out flat and were down 7-0 in the first quarter, playing from behind the rest of the night.

Hillman's leading scorers were Trenton Taratuta with 22 points and Brenden Rouleau who chipped in with 16.

The Tigers clawed within two points twice on the night, but couldn't get over the hump. Hillman is now off for the break until Jan. 4 when they return to action against Posen at home.

Hillman heads into break 5-2.

"(Monday) we came out flat in the first quarter and played behind the rest of the night," said Hillman's head coach Eric Muszynski. "It was a game of runs and when we played with intensity we got right back in the game but we have to find a way to play 32 minutes of defense and get back to what built Hillman Basketball which is Defense."
