Car crash sends three to hospital

ALPENA — A two-car collision on Wednesday on the corner of M-32 and M-65 South sent three people to the hospital.

According to officials on the scene, the two vehicles, one red and the other white, were both northbound on M-65. The white vehicle stopped at the intersection while the red car failed to stop, leading to the rear-end collision.

The red car held a single driver, but the white vehicle had a driver and passenger. All three headed to MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena for further medical assistance and examination.

The Alpena County Sheriff’s Office, Alpena Fire Department, and Long Rapids Township Fire Department were on the scene controlling the flow of traffic and helping those involved in the collision.
