ATLANTA — The Atlanta volleyball team made quick work of Wolverine on Wednesday, defeating the Wildcats 25-5, 25-7 and 25-8.

Olivia McSwain had 24 assists and 10 aces for the Huskies, Alliyah Hagemeister and Paiglee Moldenhauer had seven kills and Brianna Jadrych had 10 kills.

Atlanta’s JV was also victorious Wednesday, defeating Wolverine 25-11, 25-10 and 25-23.

Ella Dobbyn led the way with eight aces and Alyssa Carigon and Sophia McClean each had seven aces.

Petoskey 7, Alpena 1

ALPENA — The Alpena High boys tennis team had a tough day on the court on Tuesday, losing to Petoskey 7-1.

Alpena’s one doubles team of Finn Williams and Tyler Cloft won a tough matchup, 6-4, 4-6, 6-3. Zach Cloft at four singles lost a tough matchup to Petoskey’s Zealan Abbitt, 3-6, 9-7, 4-6.
