Bus 19-B in the Wilson Township area is not running for secondary and elementary schools today due to a staffing shortage, Alpena Public Schools announced Wednesday.

If a student is absent due to lack of transportation, it is considered an excused absence. Parents can check student bus route information at ParentVUE on either the APS app or website. From there, they can select a student, go to student information, and click on additional information for bus route information.

It is unknown at this time if the bus will run its route next week.
