Alpena students participate in CTE Signing Day
Courtesy Photo On Wednesday, Alpena High School (AHS) in partnership with Alpena Community College (ACC) hosted Career and Technical Education (CTE) Signing Day. NC3 National CTE Signing Day celebrates local high school students making a commitment to continue their chosen career pathway by earning additional certifications, credentials and degrees after starting at AHS. Twelve students participated in this celebration of CTE, signing their letters of intent to attend ACC surrounded by educators from AHS and ACC to complete the ceremony. NC3 National Signing Day began in 2014 and shows the value of students that are entering a technical field to emphasize the importance of their career choice.
