Coach of the Year

John Kuzewski, Hillman

The Hillman girls basketball team had a lot of fun this season, won a lot of games and along the way Kuzewski picked up his 200th varsity win as a coach.

With an experienced, balanced roster, the Tigers were raring to go from the outset, finishing 19-4 and ending the season on a 15-game win streak. That streak included running the table to win a division championship. Kuzewski’s squads are always well-coached and prepared for anything and during the 2022-23 season, the Tigers proved to be among the area’s best teams again.
