All City of Rogers City customers are under a boil water advisory Wednesday as of 6 p.m, according to the Rogers City Water Department

This a precautionary measure being taken under state guidelines due to a temporary less of pressure in the system due to a ruptured water main.

Any water used for feed preparation or drinking should be boiled for at least a minute before consumption.

The advisory will be lifted after sampling and testing determines the water is bacteria-free under state guidelines.
