Montmorency County Inmates lodged in Alpena County Jail: 10

Feb. 13

8:57 p.m.: During a traffic stop on County Rd 612 a male subject from Hillman was arrested for possession of methamphetamines. Officers were assisted by the Hunt Team and MSP. The subject was lodged in the Alpena County Jail.

Feb. 16

11:27 p.m.: A chimney fire was reported to dispatch in Hillman Township; Deputies and Hillman Fire responded. No one was injured and the fire was extinguished. All units cleared without incident.

Feb. 18

9:44 p.m.: During a traffic stop on Fleming Rd in Albert Township a male subject was arrested for operation while intoxicated. The subject was transported to the Alpena County Jail and lodged.

Feb. 19

6:50 a.m.: Hillman Fire Department responded to a fire in the laundry room at the Elizabeth St apartments. The fire was contained and all units cleared at 7:27 a.m.

10:01 a.m.: Officers were dispatched to Nicolet National Bank in Lewiston for a burglar alarm. Upon contacting the bank, the alarm was accidentally pushed.
