Montmorency County Inmates lodged in Alpena County Jail: 13

Nov. 9

8:20 a.m.: A deputy responded to a business in Albert Township for a larceny report. The larceny is still under investigation.

12:06 p.m.: A complaint of a resident in Albert Township that is housing exotic animals in their home was made to the sheriff’s department. A deputy is investigation these allegations.

2:52 p.m.: A male subject was at the Montmorency County courthouse, he was found to have warrants out of an adjoining jurisdiction; subject was taken into custody and transported to meet officers at the county line.

9:46 p.m.: A vehicle deer accident was reported to dispatch; an officer responded to take the report.

11:40 p.m.: Deputies arrested a female in Hillman Village who had a warrant, she was later lodged at Alpena County Jail.

Nov. 10

4:46 a.m.: A vehicle deer accident was reported in Hillman Township; a deputy responded to take the report, EMS also responded. Driver and passengers were found to be uninjured.

11:50 p.m.: A male subject came into the lobby of MCSO to report he had been assaulted. A deputy spoke with the subject and the investigation is ongoing.

5:43 p.m.: Deputies responded to a call involving a gun and a confused elderly resident in Hillman Township; Deputies cleared without incident.

7:40 p.m.: An officer responded to a residential alarm in Lewiston Township; the owner was on scene and accidentally triggered the alarm.

10:28 p.m.: A deputy assisted an MSP trooper out of Alpena on a complaint.

Nov. 12

1:33 a.m.: A welfare check was requested on an elderly female in Albert Township. The female was located at her residence and was ok.

7:30 p.m.: Officers responded to a dispute on Doty St in Briley Township. A 54 year old male from Atlanta was arrested and lodged.
