Montmorency County Inmates lodged in Alpena County Jail: 10

Nov. 21

9:10 p.m.: A vehicle deer accident was reported on M-33 in Briley Township; no one was injured. Deputies responded to take the report.

Nov. 22

10:08 a.m.: A deputy made a routine traffic stop in Briley Township; the driver was found to have warrants out of Alpena County. Deputies transported the subject to Alpena County Jail where he was lodged.

6:05 p.m.: Deputies responded to a vehicle elk accident on M-33 North, one of the drivers was transported by EMS to be treated for injuries.

Nov. 25

6:18 p.m.: Deputies responded to a dispute in Hillman Township; the dispute was a verbal dispute. Parties were separated and the deputies cleared without incident.

Nov. 26

6:29 p.m.: A vehicle that had driven off the roadway on M-32 in Briley Township was reported; deputies responded and found the driver to be intoxicated. The driver was arrested for OWI and transported to Alpena County Jail where he was lodged.
