BELLAIRE–The Hillman volleyball team had its season come to an end on Thursday after a three-set loss to Leland in a Division 4 regional final.

Leland topped the Tigers 25-16, 25-10 and 25-21.

Hillman coach Kim Weiland was proud of her teams effort and credited her five seniors — Julia Taratuta, Brooke Bennett, Trinity Johnson, Mckenna Klein and Isabel Schultz for their leadership all season.

“They had a remarkable senior season and I’m very proud of them and the rest of the team,” she said.

Hillman’s season including a win over Atlanta in the finals of the Little Dipper Division of the North Star League tournament, a district championship for the first time since 2018 and a five-set regional semifinal victory over the Huskies on Tuesday.
