Alpena Public Schools will celebrate the opening of Alpena High School Career and Technical Education's new Construction Technology Facility with a ribbon cutting ceremony at noon on Oct. 11 at Alpena High School.
The public is invited to the event, at which speakers Alpena High School CTE Director Joyce McCoy and Alpena Public Schools Superintendent David Rabbideau will speak.
The Alpena Area Chamber of Commerce is partnering with APS in hosting the ribbon cutting for the facility which was built with state 61c grant funds designated for use to purchase equipment needed for CTE programs.
