Alpena Public Schools invites the public to a ribbon cutting celebrating renovations at Sanborn Elementary School in Ossineke.

The ceremony happens at 5:15 p.m. Monday at the school, prior to the regular APS Board of Education meeting at 5:30.

Voter-approved bond sales funded Sanborn facility upgrades — including a secure entry, plumbing updates, parking lot improvements, and a new roof, sidewalks, and boiler — as well as renovations at other APS school buildings.
