Alpena’s girls team placed 14th out of the 24 schools in the Division 1 green division.

Emma Dickins medaled and was 16th, finishing in 20:42. She was followed by Kaelyn Heath (35th, 21:40), Izzy Szymanski (85th, 22:56.68), Amelia Roznowski (114th, 23:39.64), Cailyn Burrone (125th, 24:02.71), Allison Borowski (159th, 25:06.81), Abigail Zaborney (206th, 29:09.51)l; Sarah Rabbideau (207th, 29:15.21), Carmen Muller (210th, 29:25.71), Kylie Gagnon (211th, 30:09.67), Elizabeth Barnhill (212, 30:31.46) and Claire Mitchell (42:04.66).

In the mens race, Elijah Allen medaled  and was 17th, finishing in 17:11.

Alpena’s boys team placed 18th out of 27 teams entered.  The next men in for Alpena were Hunter Hitzelberger (121st, 19:05.96), Braeden Mathis (137th, 19:18.85), Kenan Knight, Hayden Bacchus (199th, 20:53.12), Owen Mendel (216th, 21:28), Austin Rienhardt (229th, 22:13.53) and Alex Gies (261st, 26:28.91).
