Police: Teen runaways found
ALPENA– Three runaway teenagers from Alpena have been found, law enforcement officials said on Friday.
Thirteen-year old Marissa Kollien, 15-year-old Colin Miller and 16-year-old Ashton Bensman have been located in Atlanta, Georgia and are in the process of being reunited with their families, the Michigan State Police-Alpena Post announced in a press release.
In a press release Thursday, the MSP-Alpena Post said the three runaways were reported missing on Tuesday.
Troopers were dispatched Tuesday to a residence in Alpena County for a report of a juvenile runaway, Kollien. During the initial investigation, two additional juveniles, Miller and Bensman were reported as runaways.
