New college advisor Jenny Taratuta, starting work this week at Alpena High School and ACES Academy, will help students navigate post-high school training and education options.
With experience as a career navigator for the Michigan Marshall Plan for Talent, Taratuta will guide students and their families in making post-graduation decisions, assist with applications, and help with scholarships and financial aid.
Taratuta comes to the high school through Michigan College Access Network's program, AdviseMI, which places college advisers to support students as they make the transition from high school to postsecondary education and training.
