Learn about state Supreme Court candidates

ALPENA ― Residents can learn about candidates seeking a seat on the Michigan Supreme Court during a virtual candidate forum on Wednesday.

Sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Michigan and the Jewish Bar Association of Michigan, the forum will introduce all Supreme Court candidates, including Richard Bernstein (D), Kyra Harris Bolden (D), Paul Hudson (R), Kerry Morgan (L), and Brian Zahra (R).

Candidates will share opening statements and answer questions from the League.

Those wishing to attend the virtual event, to take place at 7 p.m. on Sept. 21 via Zoom, must register at tinyurl.com/2p8txdvz.

The event will also be livestreamed on the League of Women Voters of Michigan's Facebook page and uploaded to YouTube following the event.
