On Saturday, at 9:45 a.m., several streets in Alpena will close to vehicular traffic for the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers 5K race.

Prentiss Street from State Avenue to Harbor Drive, Harbor Drive from Prentiss to Water Street, Water Street from Harbor Drive to 2nd Avenue, 2nd Avenue from River Street to Fletcher Street, and Carter Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues.

Barricades will be present and residents are asked to use surrounding streets to detour around these closures. It is anticipated the streets will be reopened no later than 11:30 a.m.
