Michael Rigot, of Onaway, got a rejection notice last week from the state's Supreme Court.
The state's high court refused to hear Rigot's challenge to a Court of Appeals decision upholding his 2020 conviction on sexual assault charges.
A jury convicted Rigot of 19 counts of sexually assaulting two minor girls and sentenced to 10 to 15 years in prison.
Rigot told the appeals court that Presque Isle County Prosecutor Ken Radzibon prejudiced the jury when he said in a closing statement that Rigot "took away (the minor's) virginity that night."
Appellate judges said Radzibon's statement was supported by fact and did not unfairly influence the jury.
The Supreme Court on Thursday said Rigot could not appeal the appellate court decision. Rigot remains incarcerated in the Saginaw Correctional Facility in Freeland.
