A man found dead in a vehicle in the lot of a Lincoln business died by suicide, the Alcona County Sheriff’s Office said on Monday.

Police identified Darryl Miller, 57, of Hillman, as the person they found in the driver’s seat of a vehicle in a remote part of the parking lot of the Kris Mart grocery store on Aug. 17.

The Alcona County Sheriff’s Office suspected the man to be Miller since the incident but waited to release his identity until a medical examiner confirmed it, according to a Monday news release.

The Sheriff’s Office offered its condolences to Miller’s family.
