OSSINEKE — Medical first responders on Sunday evening took the driver of an ATV to the hospital in serious condition after his vehicle left East Beaver Lake Road near Ossineke, crossing a narrow field and landing in a line of trees.

Police said the man was ejected from the vehicle for reasons still under investigation and received serious injuries.

Another driver, on a separate ATV, was not injured and did not see the other vehicle leave the roadway, police said.
