Alpena Public Schools is accepting sealed bids for a tiny house built by students in the Construction Technology class at the Alpena High School.

The minimum bid is $50,000 and bids must be submitted to the Alpena High School Main Office by 3 p.m. on Aug.15.

Interested parties can access the bid proposal and specs of the house on the school system’s website. Purchase includes a trailer, the small home features a sleeping loft, kitchen, bathroom, and living space. More photos are available at the Alpena Public Schools Facebook page. There will be open houses for potential bidders today from 4-7 p.m. and Aug. 8 from 3-5 p.m. The small house will be in the back oval off of Garden Street.
