One person died when an off-roading vehicle crashed in Long Rapids Township early this morning.
Jerry Oliver, 57, of Posen, was killed shortly after 1 a.m. when a utility task vehicle in which he was a passenger rolled over on private property off Kensa Road, the Michigan State Police reported.
The 21-year-old driver was hospitalized. Police continue to investigate the crash, in which they believe alcohol was a factor.
