July 4
12:31 a.m.: Deputies responded to a noise complaint in Avery Township; the people involved were advised to keep the noise down for the night.
July 5
12:16 p.m.: Officers responded to a commercial burglar alarm at a business in Montmorency Township. Officers arrived to find that a customer set the alarm off, the owner was contacted and the customer was asked to leave. Officers secured the building.
July 6
2:53 p.m.: An erratic driver was called in to dispatch, deputies responded and located the vehicle, the driver was parked and found to be fine.
10:33 p.m.: A subject in Albert Township called into the center because they were lost; Dispatch assisted them in getting them to their destination.
July 7
2:57 p.m.: A resident of Albert Township came into the MCSO lobby to report breaking and entering of his residence; deputies are investigating this report.
5:27 p.m.: A resident of Hillman Township called to request officers patrol her area as she lives on a private road and ORV’s are constantly tearing up the road.
8:32 p.m.: An officer responded to a call in Albert Township; the caller was reporting damage to property; an investigation is ongoing.
9:41 p.m.: A call came into the center regarding a large tree limb that was blocking both lanes on Farrier Rd in Hillman; an officer responded and cleared the roadway.
July 8
12:56 a.m.: A dispute was reported in Montmorency Township; deputies responded and the parties were separated for the evening. Officers cleared without incident.
6:27 p.m.: A deputy responded to a report of horses loose in Briley Township; the horses were contained while owners were contacted. The deputy cleared without incident.
10:24 p.m.: A car deer accident was reported on M-32 in Rust Township; no one was injured. A deputy responded to take the report.
July 9
5:45 p.m.: Tri Township Fire Department and the DNR Fire Department responded to several small fires along the roadway on M-33 South. The cause of the fires are unknown.
6:13 p.m.: Hillman Fire/EMS and officers responded to a two vehicle accident in front of Charly O’s Pizza in the Village of Hillman. No one was injured.
9 p.m.: Lewiston Fire Dept was dispatched for an illegal burn on Alexander St in Albert Township. The owner of the residence was given a warning for illegal burning.
10:35 p.m.: Officers responded to a fight in progress on Morningstar Lake Rd in Briley Township. A female was transported to My Michigan Health Alpena for a mental evaluation.
