A damaged car sits in the middle of Washington Avenue after being involved in a two-car crash on Wednesday. The Alpena police and fire departments responded to a two-car wreck at the intersection of 11th Avenue and Washington Avenue around 4:30 p.m. A truck and a car were seriously damaged, and the impact from the crash caused the airbag in the car to deploy, which was on its driver's side. It was not immediately known if anyone was injured.
