Alpena leaf and grass drop off on Saturday

Alpena residents can drop off bagged leaf and grass materials at the Public Works Service Center on Long Lake Avenue from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, as well as during regular hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m Monday through Friday.

An onsite employee will show residents where to empty materials from bags.

The city will next pick up brush Aug. 1 to 4.
