ALPENA ― Residents can get free COVID-19 tests tomorrow at the Alpena County Fairgrounds, thanks to District Health Department No. 4.

No appointments are needed for the event, to be held from 10 a.m to 3 p.m.

Participants will be asked but not required to share insurance information and identification.

Health officials will text or email results, with rapid results available within 30 to 45 minutes and other results available within two to three days.
