TVs are among the items to be accepted at June 4's e-waste collection day at the Alpena County Fairgrounds.

A free collection day for Alpena County residents will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 4 at the Alpena County Fairgrounds.

This will be a residential e-waste collection day, and the following items will be accepted:

¯ TVs and CRTs

¯ Desktop computers, laptops and tablets

¯ Computer keyboards and mice

¯ Computer monitors

¯ Desktop printers

¯ Desktop scanners

¯ Fax machines

¯ Gaming consoles

¯ Cell phones

¯ DVD players, VCRs, cable boxes

¯ Cables, cords, wires from electronics

¯ CD players and stereo equipment/speakers

¯ Low-grade electronics, small electronics.

There are no fees, but donations are appreciated.

The fairgrounds are located at 625 S. 11th Ave., Alpena.
