ACC cross country team named Academic All-American

Courtesy Photo For the seventh consecutive year, the Alpena Community College cross country team has been named Academic All-American. To meet these standards, a team must have a 3.2 cumulative GPA for the Fall Semester and an individual must have at least a 3.4 GPA. The team finished with a 3.69 cumulative GPA. This year, the four student-athletes earning this award are Duncan Ross, Musa Kubbah, Teddy Peters and Connor Bagnell. “This is what being a student-athlete is all about,” Coach Mark Jacobs said. “These young men not only compete hard during practice and the meets, but also in the classroom.” In the past nine seasons, the Lumberjacks as a team have earned Academic All-American seven times and Individually this prestigious award has been earned 40 times.
