A car sits on its top after flipping after colliding with another car Sunday night in Alpena. Police on the scene said nobody was injured.

ALPENA - Nobody was hurt in a two-car crash on 3rd Avenue near Campbell Street shortly after 8 p.m. tonight.
The Alpena police and fire departments were called to the scene where one of the cars involved flipped onto its top over the curb and came to rest mere inches from a light post, while the second car suffered major damage to its front end.
Traffic in both directions of Third Ave. was forced to find an alternate route around the vicinity, as police questioned the drivers and firefighters secured the area.
Police on the scene said nobody was injured in the wreck.
