ALPENA ― A man evicted from a Nicholson Hill Road home broke back in to steal items inside, police said.

Police arrested Randall Williams, 31, accusing him of breaking into the home on March 11, stealing items, and taking the stolen goods to another person’s home in Ossineke.

Williams had been evicted from the place from which he allegedly stole goods and knew the person living there, police said.

The Alpena County Prosecutor’s Office issued an arrest warrant on April 11. Police arrested Williams on April 14 at an Alpena hotel.

Williams was arraigned today in the 88th District Court in Alpena County on one count of second-degree home invasion and one count of larceny from a building.
