ALPENA — Northeast Michigan residents may attend a memorial service honoring Diane Postler-Slattery, president and CEO of MyMichigan Health, and her husband, Don Slattery, the health system announced on Wednesday.

Postler-Slattery helped facilitate the 2016 transition of ownership of the former Alpena Regional Medical Center from Alpena County to then-MidMichigan Health.

The couple died after a small-airplane crash in Florida last month.

A visitation beginning at 4 p.m. on April 19 at the Midland Center for the Arts will precede the 6 p.m. memorial service. An honor walk will welcome the cremated remains of Postler-Slattery and her husband to the center at 3:45 p.m.
