ALPENA — The public may tour the new patient tower at MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena on April 22.

Self-guided tours will allow visitors to see many areas of the finished building, including a private patient room, operating rooms, nursing stations, family waiting room, and the labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum suites.

An open house will be held from 12 to 3 p.m., with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and remarks at 12:45 p.m.
