ALPENA ― Paramedics took a pregnant woman and three children to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash on South Bagley Street in Alpena shortly after noon on Thursday.

The driver of a teal car, turning left onto Bagley, pulled out of the Alpena Meijer parking lot in front of an oncoming SUV. The car’s driver thought the SUV was turning left into the Meijer lot, according to police.

The car’s driver and her passengers – two teenage girls and a toddler – sustained minor injuries and were sent to the hospital as a precaution, police said. The crash temporarily stalled traffic around the store parking lot.
