The head of the Alpena-Montmorency-Alcona Educational Service District got a nod of approval from the district’s Board of Education, which last week rated Superintendent Scott Reynolds as “highly effective” in an annual evaluation.

The board awarded Reynolds the rating – the highest possible – for the fifth consecutive year, also his fifth year as superintendent.

Reynolds earned the “highly effective” rating in all evaluation categories, including student achievement at Pied Piper School, visionary leadership, communication and community relations, organizational management, and professionalism and ethics.
