Fundraising for the 2022 Fourth of July fireworks display in Alpena kicks off Thursday with a drive buy sales event in front of WATZ on Prentiss Street from 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Red, white & blue bracelets will be available for the minimum donation of $5. The money from the sale of the bracelets and other donations will fund the annual fireworks. This year's fundraising goal is $23,000.
