ALPENA — Residents hoping to earn some summer cash could consider applying for one of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources’s 1,300 seasonal park positions, including at Northeast Michigan state parks, the DNR said on Wednesday.
The DNR hires seasonal workers to register campers, clean park buildings, maintain trails, and perform other needed tasks during the summer months, when parks are busiest.
THE DNR also hires seasonal workers to help with habitat management, wildlife surveys, data collection, and grounds maintenance at its field offices, customer service centers and game areas.
Seasonal park workers must be 18 or older or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Interested workers can learn more and find a link to an online application form at Michigan.gov/DNRJobs.
