HILLMAN - Firefighters responded to a fire that consumed a home on Edwards Road south of Hillman early Tuesday afternoon.
Nobody was home at the time the fire started, firefighters said.
A responder who was first on the scene said the house was already beyond being saved by the time firefighters arrived.
As of Tuesday afternoon, firefighters did not know the cause of the fire.
