ALPENA — Up North experience in the great outdoors could serve the state as the Michigan Department of Natural Resources seeks a candidate to serve on the Michigan Trails Advisory Council to advise the DNR on the creation, development, operation, and maintenance of state trails.
The state looks to the council for guidance regarding snowmobile, biking, equestrian, hiking, off-road vehicle, and skiing trails.
