ALPENA — Governor Gretchen Whitmer today reminded Michiganders who need it to apply for low or no-cost health insurance before the Jan. 15 open enrollment deadline.

Residents can learn about insurance options by visiting Michigan.gov/HealthInsurance or calling 877-999-6442. Enrollment assistance is available at LocalHelp.Healthcare.gov.

After the Jan. 15 deadline, residents can next apply for coverage in November, with coverage beginning January 2023.
