ALPENA - Firefighters responded to a vehicle fire outside Alpena Community College's auto body shop around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Captain Brett Miller of the Alpena Fire Department said a student started his vehicle outside to warm it up, went back inside, and then learned from another student that the vehicle was on fire. Firefighters reported no injuries at the scene.
