ACC to host alumni hoops games

ALPENA — Alpena Community College will hold an alumni basketball challenge Saturday, Dec. 4. This reunion of ACC Lumberjack basketball players of the past will feature a number of short games with alumni competing against each other and current ACC players.

Fun will be had by competitors and spectators alike, with a Frank McCourt Jacket Toss competition and Mark Jacobs Sideline Sprint competition at the midway point of the basketball games, along with a raffle and 50/50 drawing. The series of games starts at 2 p.m., with women playing first, followed by the men.

Admission to the event is $5 per person with ACC students and kids getting in free.

All proceeds from the event will go to support the ACC Athletics Department.
