Courtesy Photo Several local officials were recently chosen to work the Michigan 8-Player football semifinals as well as regional semifinal and regional final contests. From left, Lucas Tollini of Onaway, Cameron Paull of Posen, Matt Tollini of Onaway, George Kroll of Posen and Dave Kuznicki of Alpena. Paull and Kuznicki were additionally part of a crew that worked the AuGres/Colon eight player semifinal. Lucas Tollini has been registered with the Michigan High School Athletic Association for two years and has officiated five playoff games, Paull has two years, and has worked six playoff games and one semifinal, Matt Tollini has five years and five playoff games, Kroll has two years and four playoff games. Kuznicki has 48 years experience refereeing numerous regional games, three semifinals, and one final in football. He has also umpired the state finals in high school baseball, the 2000 high school all-star game at Comerica Park, numerous Little League state finals, five regionals of the Little League International tournaments and one Little League World Series.
