ALPENA -- A man who allegedly threatened his roommate with a shotgun went to jail on Nov. 9, charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.
Police say Ian Lessard, 25, held the shotgun as he made accusations against his roommate on Canterbury Lane in Alpena Township around 2 a.m. Nov. 9.
Lessard left the residence after a witness disarmed him, police said.
Shortly thereafter, Alpena Police Department officers spotted Lessard walking toward Alpena High School. Michigan State Police troopers responded to the location and arrested Lessard, who was arraigned in Alpena's 88th District Court.
