ALPENA — The public can receive free COVID-19 vaccinations every Wednesday in October at Alpena Community College, health officials announced today.

Health officials will offer Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson and Johnson vaccinations, including booster shots, without pre-registration, from 1 to 7 p.m. today and Oct. 13, 20, and 27 at the college.

To schedule a vaccination at another time, call District Health Department No. 4 at 800-221-0294.

Health officials will also offer rapid, 15-minute COVID-19 tests at the vaccination events and at Thunder Bay Junior High School in Alpena from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Saturday in October.
