Nowicki’s hosts last day summer blast at Boys & Girls Club of Alpena

Courtesy Photo Brian Peterson, owner of Nowicki’s, had so much fun hosting a charity event back in July he decided to throw one for the members at the Boys & Girls Club for the last day of summer programming. Brian hosted the event with music, food and even the ever-so-popular hot dog man. Members were thrilled to be served their last lunch of the summer out of the Nowicki’s food truck, play yard games, be able to dance and most of all be able to dunk the staff! Nick Montie, CEO of Wolverine State Credit Union and Boys and Girls Club of Alpena Board member, lent the Club the dunk tank and all the youth were able to dunk the Club’s staff. Also, at the party, Brian Peterson, presented Bradley Somers, CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Alpena a $500 check to support the Club’s Open New Doors Capital Campaign. “Brian made the last of summer special for all the youth and the staff. We are so happy to partner with Brian and Nowicki’s and offer more and more fun opportunities for youth in the community. Partners like Brian support our youth in so many ways and his donation to the Open New Doors Capital Campaign will help create more avenues for youth in the future,” Somers said.
