ALPENA -- Local first responders responded to a rollover crash at about 3 p.m. Wednesday on French Road in Alpena.
Nobody was injured in the accident.
The driver of the Jeep that rolled over said she was driving in her own lane when the vehicle in front of her turned unexpectedly into a driveway without using a turn signal. She said instead of rear-ending the other automobile, she tried to avoid impact and ended up in the ditch with the vehicle on its side.
Traffic in both directions was stalled until the scene was determined to be safe by police. The Alpena Township Fire Department, Michigan State Police, and City of Alpena Ambulance Service responded to the scene.
