ALPENA -- Families Against Narcotics (FAN) Forum will be at 6 p.m. tonight at the Shoreline Church, with the theme, What Recovery Looks Like/What to Expect!
Tonight's panelists will be Larry LaCross, and Jesika and Hailey Brown, sisters who will talk about what it's like to be in recovery, and what it's like to have a family member in recovery.
Topics will include what to expect during recovery, what early recovery looks like, what individual and family members should expect, what does accessing treatment look like, and what do families need to know. This will be a panel discussion covering introductory topics and addressing family members' struggles in understanding recovery, hiccups in the road, negative language and topics that just aren't pretty or easily discussed.
This meeting will be both in person and will also have a zoom link option.
