The Hillman Lions were joined by District Governor Bill Gaines of Oscoda last week to install their officers for the 2021-22 year.

Several Lions were honored by the Hillman Lions for exceptional service. Lion Jim Paczkowski received the Ken Lautzenheiser Fellowship, Lion Carleen Klein received the Charles Weir Sight Conservation Fellowship and Lion Jean Manning received the Melvin Jones Fellowship, the highest honor that an individual club can award. In addition, Lion Barb Durflinger was presented with the International Leadership Medal. Lions Clubs International awards approximately 1,000 of these medals annually worldwide to the 1.4 million Lions.
